Colorful Eye Looks to Wear In the Spring and Into the Summer

As we shift into warmer weather and brighter days, these spring to summer looks are a great way to experiment with your beauty look. We all know the feeling of the pandemic rut, whether that is getting stuck in non-stop Zoom calls or the lack of motivation to put on an outfit, so what better way to spruce things up than some colorful eye looks. These looks are a budget friendly and minimal way to try something creative. The best part of it all is you get to play with bold, fresh colors that can easily be transitioned to the summer season.

By focusing on the eyes, we can create a focal point— this is what will draw attention to your look. To mimic the beautiful spring and summer color palette, I chose the following colors: orange, blue, and green. Each of these colors look amazing on different skin tones and eye colors, especially with the summer glow we all hope to gain this year. Let us be blessed with plenty of sunshine in 2021. To recreate the colorful looks I’ve put together, stock up on colorful mascara, liquid eyeliner, creamy pencil eyeliner, glitter eyeshadow and rhinestones.

Blending gold and orange is a classic look that reminds me of gorgeous summer sunsets. Some of my favorite spring flowers, marigolds, are also this beautiful orange shade.

Electric Blue

One way to make brown eyes really pop is this color! This is a cool look that requires minimal makeup skills. By blending this into a smokey look it softens the shade and creates an air of mystery.

Green Goddess

This vibrant shade resonates all over nature especially in the spring. Just as the trees and flowers bloom with life, this color will definitely give your look some rejuvenation. I am obsessed with this color because it is very versatile. If you’re tired of the classic black eyeliner, green is away to stand out with elegance.

Trying new colors for your eye makeup can be intimidating but adding a pop of color to the inner corner of your eye is a simple, easy way to create this look. The most important part about experimenting with color is to just have fun! Ready to take it a step further? Try different color combinations; a color wheel is a great place to get inspiration for color schemes. I hope these colors inspire you to create a look and help you get out of this pandemic rut as we approach spring.
